In 2015, the idea of tailoring period panties was born in a small kitchen in the middle of the Rhineland. Until then, these wonderfully practical briefs were only available in the USA. The first Taynie - the original Taynie - called "Saubertage" was created with a seamstress friend. After more than 50 women tested our first model and found it to be a real 'game changer' in terms of menstruation, the Taynie company was founded. Our original model is still in use today - of course, the technology has been refined over the years and we have also perfected the fit. It was also important to us to bring period underwear onto the market without any biocides. In the meantime, we have moved out of our kitchen-living room into a proper office, have several great employees and are still passionate about what we do. 💚

In total, we have over ten employees who ensure that our customers are delighted with sustainably packaged Taynies every day.
Team spirit is very important to us and to encourage this, we eat lunch together every day. At lunchtime, all employees and the founding team sit together at the table and enjoy the freshly prepared food prepared by our favorite employee Leah.
From vegan and gluten-free to sausages in soup - there is something for everyone and all diets are catered for. 🍝
Not to be forgotten is our employee of the month – Piet.
Piet is our office dog and his calm nature provides some balance, especially in stressful times.🐕
