Biocides such as zinc pyrithione or silver ion are often found in period underwear, as they are intended to protect against pathogenic germs, for example. You can wash our period underwear at 30-40 °C and max. at 60 °C. A wash cycle at 60 °C does not impair the function of the briefs. You can find out more about this on our blog and in our FAQ 'How can I wash Taynies'.
